HELP US TO SPREAD OUR
LOVE AND FAITH

As we renew our mission as a Ministry Area to transform lives and communities in the name of Jesus Christ, this necessarily entails that significant move from simply maintaining things that are familiar (to some at least) to reaching out with the good news of the gospel in ways that are creative and relevant, - and not just in words, but through lives in which God is making a difference!

May we be encouraged that God, by his grace, continuously works amongst and through his people here, as we seek to deepen our relationship with him we renew our mission as a diocese and parish to transform lives and communities in the name of Jesus Christ, this necessarily entails that significant move from simply maintaining things that are familiar (to some at least) to reaching out with the good news of the gospel in ways that are creative and relevant, - and not just in words, but through lives in which God is making a difference!

Father, we hold before you our family in the

Diocese of Swansea and Brecon

and we open our hearts and minds to your Spirit:

Bless us as we gather in your name;

guide us as we grow into the likeness of your Son;

At the Dunvant Social Club (the Workies) on Friday 19th April, 92 people eagerly awaited St Martin's adaption of a Murder Mystery.  With all 10 suspects and many of the audience in 1943 period dress enjoying the cut and thrust of accusations and intrigue and light hearted banter.  The half time break saw us enjoy 'Sausage and Chips' supplied and delivered by Roma's  Fish Restaurant in Gorseinon.

At the end 2 teams 1 from Penclawdd and the 3 amigo's from Dunvant who deduced correctly from the 6 secret clues who the murderer was.  It came down to a tie breaker which was won by the 3 amigos.  With the mystery finished we all had some social time with friends and listening to their comments, all enjoyed the evening.  A very well done to the 10 suspects, some who stepped in at short notice to fill the gaps left for genuine reasons by those who were unable to attend. A big thank you to all involved.
